First it was London, now it’s Salford.

(Well, Darlington and places north are up there chose the Mayoral route as their future as well, but hey, that’s a country far away. This is Salford, where the BBC chose to move to. So, we MUST be important.)

Anyway, this is the start of the story, how we ditched the old system and decided to become all modern like our capital city and elect a Mayor – not Manchester no, Salford only. In case you haven’t been told yet, the election is on 3rd May, Thursday, 2012. Be there!
