Okay, if you don’t know by now, it will come as a massive surprise. Otherwise, it won’t. But the fact is that I’m writing a new novel, taking as my subject matter the real life reality – believe it or not – that Salford is about to elect a Mayor (never happened before).

And, since it’s now 5pm on a Saturday afternoon, I’m busy uploading the latest chapter onto a website called Salford.me

Yep, one chapter at a time, week by week, in parts. It’s a good idea, (but it’s not mine – Charles Dickens thought of it first, back in the 1840s).
